Overview


Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, including developing recruiting strategies, sourcing and interviewing candidates.  As an ambassador representing the client, work with a sense of purpose and urgency to attract and hire the highest caliber of talent with a focus on government contracting.


Responsibilities



  • Manage the recruitment process for the life-cycle of position to include sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating the process from beginning to end

  • Understand and balance both the technical requirements and business needs of each position

  • Partner with management on staffing plans and recruitment strategies

  • Manage candidate expectations

  • Track progress of candidates and positions throughout the recruiting process

  • Keep accurate notes of candidates and positions for various requisitions, update reports accordingly

  • Maintain daily communications and updates with the recruiting team

  • Extend and negotiate offers of employment 

  • Develop, report, and analyze recruiting metrics and findings and develop recommendations for process improvement

  • Research, analyze, prepare, and present accurate staffing-related statistics and data including time to fill, turnover, sourcing, pipelines, and projections


Required Qualifications :

Qualifications



  • Education:


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


  • Required Knowledge/Experience:


    • 3-5 years of experience as a recruiter

    • Minimum 2 years of technical recruiting (information security and/or IT positions) 

    • Some experience recruiting for positions requiring security clearance 

    • Strong understanding of recruiting for IT positions such as Cyber Security, Quality Assurance, Application Developers, and Systems Engineers

    • Ability to easily juggle many open and different positions with multiple candidates

    • Ability to understand technology and to keep abreast of technology trends at client company

    • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships and partner with hiring managers

    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills

    • Demonstrated track record in creative and cost-effective recruiting notably outstanding talent

    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

    • Ability and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

    • Ability to recruit through social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Indeed, and Facebook

    • Strong knowledge of technical market, web-based/Internet recruiting techniques, and employment policies and procedures

    • Familiarity of employment laws and regulations


  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:


    • Government contracting recruiting experience highly desired
