The event coordinator should ideally have a minimum of two(2) years of experience in the events business that is familiar with entertainment, keynote speakers for corporate and private events. The new team member should be able to coordinate every aspect of our clients' events. The candidate should have experience in all aspects of event planning and coordination including, on-site management, entertainment production, contracts, client interaction and they need to be based in Arlington VA.

Requirements Responsibilities:
• A minimum of two(2) years of experience in special events and event production
•Ability to handle travel for large groups including air, ground
•Familiar with entertainment contracts and riders
•Research new speakers, authors, thought leaders, musical and entertainment acts to provide the freshest and most relevant product for SME’s clients
•Collaborate with event support staff on larger SME client events
•Maintain timely and accurate sales tracking information in automated customer relationship management tool

•Extremely organized and detail oriented
•Self-starter who takes initiative and possesses exceptional follow-through
•Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time-management, prioritization, organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities
• Perform administrative responsibilities
•Confident and professional with the ability to deal with clients, co-workers and vendors
• Energetic, outgoing, creative and imaginative
• Effectively work in a team environment
• Proactively resolves problems
